Fuji Xerox set up office in Myanmar to expand business

Fuji Xerox has set up office in Myanmar to expand its business in the developing nation.

The office in Yangon started operations on 1 April, 2013 and is headed by General Manager Yoshio Hanada.

It will provide support for the local dealer Concordia in Myanmar.

Fuji Xerox is aiming to supplant its competitor Canon as the market leader in Myanmar within three years.

Event: Canon launches 11 cameras and a new lens in Singapore

Canon has formally launched 11 cameras and a new lens in Singapore. Half the cameras had already hit the shelves earlier while the new models will debut towards end-April and early-May, with prices yet-to-be announced.

The highlights include the PowerShot N, EOS 100D and EOS 700D.

New Android app: CanonSGLens

The Android version of the free CanonSGLens app is now available on Google Play. Compatible with smartphones and tablets running Android 2.1 and up.

The Android app features detailed lens specifications of all 66 Canon EF and EF-S lenses sold in Singapore with a unique interactive simulator that allows users to compare the field of view of two camera-lens combinations.
