So Canon has finally launched their first mirrorless interchangeable lens camera - the EOS M.
It has an 18.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, with DIGIC 5 imaging processor, ISO 12,800 (expandable up to ISO 25,600), 4 fps continuous shooting. Full compatibility with existing Canon EF/EF-S lenses with adapter (EF-EOS M) without any impact to FOV and AF etc.
Styling wise, looks like a compact camera - I suppose the design emphasis is on compact. Would have loved a retro design, maybe a Hansa-inspired look to dove-tail with Canon’s 75th anniversary.
Available early October. Prices TBA.
