CES 2013: ASUS unveils Transformer AiO PC and Qube Google TV

ASUS has unveiled more innovative products for CES 2013 in Vegas. Among these is a Transformer Windows 8 AiO PC with a detachable 18.4-inch Android tablet, the Qube Google TV media streamer, two monitors, and a pocket router.

In fact, the pocket router would have been exactly what I needed during my recent trip to Japan because the super-thin Ultrabook (which I liked a lot) that I’d brought along didn’t have an Ethernet port and the some hotel rooms had wired Internet access but no Wi-Fi.

Also showcased in CES 2013 are other recent products from ASUS, including the ASUS Transformer Book, Taichi, Zenbook Touch, and ASUS VivoBook

Computer line-up: Dell XPS, Vostro, Precision, Latitude & OptiPlex

Here’s a recap of Dell’s latest line-up of new laptop and desktop computers. My favourite is the Latitude E6430s - which fits a 14-inch display into a 13-inch body – the same form-factor as its 13-inch cousin.

The laptop felt robust and rugged but was still rather light. I wouldn’t mind using it as my main workhorse.
